It's better at the shore.  There are so many reasons as to why people choose
to buy homes in Avalon and Stone Harbor, New Jersey.  Where else can you
relax on your deck after a hard week of work, breathe in the clean salt air and
put your feet up as you enjoy total peace and tranquility?  For me personally,
there's no better feeling than coming home from a tough day at the office and
letting the warm sun hit my face as I listen to the waves break.  Add a view of
the bay or ocean and I challenge you not to smile! The fact is--it's better at the
shore.
 
If you break down the demographic of the island's homeowners and
vacationers, you'll find average Joe's (no pun intended), CEO's of Fortune
500 companies, and even celebrities.  People can vacation anywhere in
the WORLD and they still choose Avalon and Stone Harbor. Look for any family
that has owned a home here for generations and you'll find a family that
can't wait for summer and the laughs that coincide with it. Whether it's the baby's
first swim in the ocean, building sand castles on the beach or getting ice cream
after a family barbeque, the memories never stop. 
 
But that's only the beginning. Remember, a place at the shore in Avalon or
Stone Harbor also gives you the opportunity to stroll the beach, walk on the boardwalk,
swim in the ocean, ride the waves, surf, kayak, water ski, jet ski, parasail, fish, jog,
ride bikes, barbeque, or just sit back on the deck and enjoy the exquisite sunrises
sunsets and holiday fireworks.
 
A few people I talk to say they can't justify spending money on a home they think
they'll use only three months of the year. The truth is, insiders know there
are plenty of "off season" weekends that draw great crowds and keep the
good times going. And both towns have worked diligently with local
businesses to successfully make Avalon and Stone Harbor more than just
summer destinations. The friends I have sold houses to tell me, "Without
question, this was the best purchase I ever made!"
 
And finally, how many stories have you heard that begin with, "We met at the Shore"?
I met my wife in Avalon,  I have clients that I've sold homes to who met in
Stone Harbor and Avalon, and I have a lot of close friends that have the
same story as well. There is something very special about a place where
so many wonderful memories and families are created.
