Please remember when surfing. The person deepest in the wave has the right of way. When learning to surf pick an uncrowded break and paddle out there. You will only congest the good spots and create a bad name for yourself if you are getting in the way. No one any where in the world will give you a hard time while surfing as long as you stay out of their way. My Avalon NJ Surf report is updated whenever we are getting waves. If I notice a period of no surf I will not update. Forecasting surf in Avalon NJ is not an exact science so don\\\'t excpect my predictions to be accurate. Weather patterns can change within hours. These "unwritten" rules do not just apply to Avalon NJ. They are international so have fun and look before you go! Remember the best surfer in the water is the one having the most fun!!!
